Five in hospital after Qld multi-car crash

Five people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on Queensland's Darling Downs.

Two cars collided on the New England Highway at Nobby around 6.30pm on Friday, and when a third vehicle stopped to help, a fourth car hit one of the original vehicles.

Five people were taken to hospital including one patient who suffered a head injury.
