Firefighters battle large bushfire in Qld

Firefighters are battling to contain a large bushfire that's been burning for days in inaccessible land in north Queensland.

Four fire crews are at the scene of the blaze in the Hervey Range, southwest of Townsville, and another 10 are on the way.

Extensive backburning operations will be conducted on Sunday and residents have been warned to prepare for a large smoke haze.
