Fire destroys historic Qld outback pub

A historic outback Queensland pub has been destroyed by fire.
Emergency services were called to the century-old Grand Hotel in Hughenden on Friday about 9.30pm to find it well alight and unable to be saved.
Police are investigating where the fire started in the heritage-listed hotel, which was closed in 2004.
