Fake tradies robbing Brisbane's elderly

Elderly Brisbane residents are being targeting by scammers posing as tradesmen offering to remove possums from people's homes.

The men have been demanding up-front payments for house repairs or possum removal before entering homes and stealing money and property, police say.

Four cases have been reported on Brisbane's northside, with the oldest victim aged 91.
