Ex-Bandido Pechey gets bail in Brisbane

A former Bandidos sergeant-at-arms accused of extortion has been granted bail after spending nine months in custody.

Brett Pechey, who fled to Thailand following the alleged offences, handed himself in to police at the beginning of the year and was voluntarily extradited to Australia.

Justice Peter Flanagan granted Pechey bail at Brisbane Supreme Court after nine charges against him were dropped by crown prosecutors.
