Elderly Qld man dies after highway crash

An elderly man who was injured when two cars and a truck collided on a far north Queensland highway earlier this month has died.
Police say the 89-year-old suffered serious injuries when the three vehicles collided on the Kennedy Highway near Karunda Range on June 3.
He was taken to Cairns Base Hospital where he died early on Wednesday morning.
