Queensland Police have arrested a man after a violent assault on a train at Northgate in Brisbane's north.
Police were called to the train station at Northgate around 4pm yesterday.
At least eight people had been assaulted on the train, including an 11-month-old baby.

The eldest of the victims was 78 years old. All sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The 28-year-old Coalbank man was arrested and when taken to the Brisbane Watchhouse. It will be alleged he assaulted two police officers.
The man was taken to hospital and investigations continue.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have any information relating to it, to come forward.
