Driver killed in Brisbane crash with truck

A woman has died after the car she was driving collided with a semi-trailer in Brisbane's bayside.

The 26-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 25-year-old male driver of the truck was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened at the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Finucane Road at Capalaba around 3am on Wednesday.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and has called for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact police.
