Driver crashes ute into Gold Coast unit

A driver has been injured after crashing his ute into the bedroom of a Gold Coast unit.
The vehicle ploughed through a fence before crashing into the Pacific Pines property just after 9pm on Monday.
The 36-year-old driver was taken in a stable condition to hospital suffering back pain. No-one was home at the time.
