Drink-driver crashed into church: police

An allegedly drunk driver who veered onto the wrong side of the road has hit a sign, a fence and a house before crashing into a church in Toowoomba.
Police say they've charged a 28-year-old woman who left the trail of disaster while driving through Harristown on Monday.
She's also accused of trying to run from the scene.

She has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and drink-driving and will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 5.
