District Court gets third new Qld judge

Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath has announced her third new judge to Queensland's District Court.

Dennis Lynch QC will join recent appointees Catherine Muir and Nicole Kefford on the bench of the District Court.

"They were selected from a shortlist of suitable candidates recommended by the Judicial Appointments Advisory Panel, chaired by retired judge, the Honourable Hugh Botting," Ms D'Ath said in a statement.
