Dash cam footage sought after Qld fatality

Motorists are being urged to check their dash cams for potential footage of a fatal motorcycle crash west of Brisbane.

The 18-year-old rider crashed into a pole near Leon Capra Drive at Augustine Heights about 12.15pm on Friday and died at the scene despite paramedics' efforts to revive him.

Police are also appealing for the driver of a white Ford Courier utility who may have been in the area at the time to contact them to assist with investigations.
