Crews battle grassfire in central Qld

Fire crews are battling to contain a large grassfire burning in central Queensland.

Queensland Fire Services say the blaze broke out shortly after 9.30am near the town of Bororen, roughly 50 kilometres south of Gladstone.

Crews are back-burning to contain the fire but no buildings are under threat.
