Crashes cause Qld motorway chaos

Two multi-vehicle crashes have caused traffic chaos on the Logan Motorway southwest of Brisbane.

All westbound lanes of the motorway are blocked after a crash involving up to four cars at Heathwood on Wednesday morning.

A second crash happened about 300 metres away after a car broke down. Westbound traffic is backed up for at least 8km and eastbound traffic is also highly congested as motorists slow down to take a look, police said.
