Cops seize $10,000 drugs in Bandidos sting

Police investigating links between the Bandidos bikie gang and illegal drugs have seized cannabis plants, steroids and other drug paraphernalia during a raid on Macleay Island.

Detectives uncovered the items when they searched a property on Coffea Street earlier on Tuesday.

There they found illegal drugs worth $10,000, as well as steroids and ammunition.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged with six, mostly drug-related, offences.

A 37-year-old woman has also been issued with a notice to appear for drug and drug paraphernalia offences.

They will both face the Cleveland Magistrates Court in March.
