Cops issue 3350 speeding notices in 24 hrs

Queensland Police have issued more than 3000 infringement notices for speeding in 24 hours.

Inspector Keiryn Dermody said it was "extremely disappointing" 3350 notices had been issued to drivers who still weren't sticking to the limit during the Easter period.

"If anyone knows anyone that is speeding, please remind them that their life depends on the fact they slow down," she said on Saturday.
