Cops await autopsy on Qld woman's body

An autopsy is being conducted on the body of an elderly woman discovered at her home in Townsville.

Police established a crime scene after the 73-year-old was discovered at the Cranbrook home on Monday morning.

Detectives are hoping the post mortem results will shed light on the cause of death.
