Cops arrest Gold Coast Mongols 'associate'

Police have arrested an alleged Gold Coast Mongols associate as part of their ongoing crackdown on the bikie gang's Queensland operations.

The 31-year-old is accused of trafficking methylamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, steroid and cannabis between June 2014 and January this year.

The arrest was another strike against the Mongols chapter, which existed largely to commit "serious crime", Detective Acting Inspector Tim Leadbetter said.
