Queensland Ambulance said he sustained four puncture wounds which paramedics treated.

"The little boy bitten by two wongaris (dingoes) on K'gari (Fraser Island) is being treated for minor injuries," Queensland Environment said on Twitter.

"Rangers are investigating the incident."

In 2019 a 14-month-old boy was mauled by a dingo also on Fraser Island.

The toddler suffered a fractured skull and cuts to his head after the dingo dragged him from a campervan.
