Central Qld lotto winners found

The hunt for a lucky Queensland lotto winner is over after a couple from Rockhampton stepped forward with the winning ticket.

The central Queensland couple had been holidaying and didn't realise they had won close to a million dollars on the October 1 Gold Lotto draw.

The couple have chosen to remain anonymous and celebrate their $800,000 windfall privately.
