Bushwalker tumbles 100m on Qld mountain

A man has suffered head, back and chest injuries after tumbling 100 metres on a mountain in southeast Queensland.
The 21-year-old was walking with his partner along Table Top Mountain, near Toowoomba, around noon on Wednesday when he fell.
He struck his head and suffered lacerations to his chest and back as a result of the fall.

A helicopter was tasked with airlifting him to hospital but paramedics decided it wasn't needed.
The man has been taken by road to St Vincent's Private Hospital for assessment.
