Qld bus driver questioned on cyclist crash

A Queensland bus driver is being questioned by police after a collision with a pack of cyclists that left one rider injured.

Police investigations indicate the cyclists were struck by the bus at the Gold Coast suburb of Palm Beach at 6.15am on Friday.

The bus driver then left the scene.

A 54-year-old rider sustained a suspected broken collar bone and was taken to hospital.

Two other cyclists suffered minor grazes.

The man who was driving the bus is now assisting police.
