Broom used to fight off robbers in Qld

A worker at a pizza shop near Brisbane has scared off four masked bandits with a broom.

The four men were armed with what appeared to be a replica firearm when they demanded cash from staff at the Bundamba store in Ipswich on Saturday night.

But they took off empty-handed when a brave staff member ran at them with a broom.
