Brisbane to host Team England's warm-up

England have chosen Brisbane as the base for a 10-day training camp in the lead up to the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

The Queensland government announced on Friday the 600-strong English team, the biggest visiting team, had chosen the capital city to acclimatise to conditions and make final preparations for the 2018 Games.

Games Minister Stirling Hinchliffe said training camps like Team England's would deliver a boost to local economies and tourism around Queensland.
