Brisbane servo hold ups could be linked

Police are investigating possible links between two armed robberies at service stations on Brisbane's northside.

In the first, a bandit produced a handgun before stealing cash and cigarettes from a servo at Chermside about 9.30pm on Tuesday.

An hour later two men, one armed with a handgun, forced their way into a service station at Lawnton 14km away and stole cash and cigarettes.

No one was hurt in either incident. Investigations continue.
