Brisbane pedestrian killed

A man has died after being hit by a ute on a southern Brisbane road.
The man died shortly after he was struck by the vehicle on Compton Road in Stretton about 4.30am on Saturday, police say.
The driver wasn't injured.

Police couldn't provide details about the circumstances of the crash but a spokeswoman said a forensic crash team was investigating.
