Brisbane man on attempted murder charge

A man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly bashing, choking and planning to rape a woman in inner-city Brisbane.
Police found the injured 43-year-old woman after being called to a domestic dispute at West End about 1.30am on Wednesday.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and assault with intent to rape. He'll face the Brisbane Magistrates Court later in the day.
