Brisbane courts to close after fire

Brisbane's Supreme and District courts will be closed on Monday after an electrical fire on Friday evening.

The fire was confined to a small electrical room on Level 11, however there is a residual odour in the building that has forced operational staff to close the complex as a precaution.

Department of Justice staff are trying to determine when cases listed for Monday can be accommodated in the court calendar.
