Missing boat and crew found in PNG

Four people, including two young boys, who were reported missing on a boat in the Torres Strait have been found safe in Papua New Guinea.

A search began overnight for the man, woman and two boys, aged four and seven, after their five-metre vessel failed to reach Mabaduan Village by 4pm.

Police say they left Yam Island on Monday, and were found in Papua New Guinea on Tuesday.
