Boy falls from ute in central Qld

A three-year-old boy has suffered head injuries after falling from a ute on Father's Day in central Queensland.

The boy fell from the ute on Sunday morning in Mungabunda, west of Gladstone, suffering cuts to his head.

Emergency services said he was airlifted to a Brisbane hospital in a stable condition.

They were unable to confirm whether he was riding in the cabin or tray of the ute.
