Boy falls from Qld school roof at night

A boy, 12, has suffered critical head injuries after a night-time fall from a Queensland school roof.

Emergency crews were called to Goodna State School in east Ipswich about 10.40pm on Thursday after reports a child had injured himself on the grounds.

The arrived to find the boy had fallen from the roof of a building.

He was taken to Mater Children's Hospital in Brisbane with critical, but non-life threatening injuries.
