Body found five days after man vanished from Gympie crash

A body has been found after a man vanished from a car wreck in Queensland last week.
Police launched the search after the 28-year-old could not be found following a two-car crash on the Bruce Highway at Traveston, north-west of the Sunshine Coast, on Thursday.

Police and emergency service volunteers had been searching an area at Cobbs Gully at Kybong but did not make the discovery for five days.
The body is yet to be formally identified.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
