Body found in search for Qld woman

A body has been found in a creek near parkland during a police search for a missing woman south of Brisbane on Monday.

Simone Rothe, 44, was last seen on Sunday, July 14 at a Westmoreland Boulevard address at Springwood and has not made contact with family or friends.

Grave concerns were held for Ms Rothe who suffers from a medical condition.

Police say a body has been found but the identity has not been confirmed.
