Black lung to be probed by Qld committee
AAP
The re-emergence of the potentially deadly black lung disease in Queensland will be probed by a parliamentary committee.
The six-person committee will build upon what has already been learned about the disease from a Senate inquiry and independent review.
Black lung had thought to have been eradicated for decades before re-emerging in Queensland last year, with 15 confirmed cases including a retired miner who died.
