Bikies could return to Qld: open
AAP
Queensland's opposition says repealing anti-bikie laws could attract outlaw gang members back to the state.
Shadow attorney-general Ian Walker says that with states like South Australia and Victoria introducing their own anti-consorting laws, watering down Queensland's tough laws could make it a target for gangs.
"It's the deterrent effect of the laws being there that is in fact sending the bikies interstate and why these other states are trying to catch up," he said.
