Bikie businesses targeted in investigation

Bikies banned from managing corporations have been disqualified from running several Queensland businesses after being identified in a joint operation between police and the corporate watchdog.

The six bikies were banned from holding office due to previous convictions, while two businesses registered by criminals will be shut down, Queensland police and ASIC said in a statement.

"We are working closely with agencies like the QPS to identify those involved in organised criminal activities and prevent them from managing companies and operating businesses," ASIC Commissioner John Price said.
