Baby found in critical condition in Ipswich home sparking investigation

Police have been called to a home in Bundamba, south of Brisbane, after a five-month-old boy was found in a critical condition.

Emergency services were first called to the home on Lindsay street about 3.30pm yesterday after the boy suffered a medical episode.

He was taken to the Queensland Children's Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A crime scene has been established at the property

Ipswich Child Protection detectives are investigating.
