Australia's 'Lego Man' puts work on show

He's got the job most kids - and some adults - would love to have and Australia's only certified professional Lego builder will be putting the fruits of his labour on display these Queensland school holidays.

Ryan McNaught will have more than 60 of his plastic brick creations on display at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre for the next 15 days.

Mr McNaught's display is made of over five million Lego bricks and includes a model Airbus A380, the world's largest Lego flower and a quarter-scale Lego Ferrari.

Any visitors keen on joining Mr McNaught as a professional Lego "brickie" - a position held by only 14 people worldwide - can try their skills with interactive building zones included in the display.

"Lego brings people together, everyone loves it," Mr McNaught said.

"Everyone has a memory of playing with Lego."

Mr McNaught's Brickman Experience exhibition runs from Saturday until July 9.
