Australian flights to and from Bali have resumed after an ash cloud around Denpasar airport had disrupted operations.

Virgin Australia, Tigerair and Jetstar released statements on Tuesday afternoon indicating all flights to and from Bali on Tuesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 3 were operating as scheduled.

Meteorologists and the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre said conditions at Denpasar Airport had improved, following all three airlines being affected on Monday when volcanic ash from Mt Rinjani reduced visibility and flying conditions.
