Anti-violence rallies planned across Qld

Public condemnation of domestic violence will be on show in a series of marches and rallies across Queensland on Sunday.

Mayors and councillors will lead public rallies throughout the state as part of the Safer Families, Better Communities campaign introduced after a spate of domestic violence deaths in the state last month.

Donations will also be collected for domestic violence services through the marches, including one to be led by Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk.
