Another bikie caught up in Gold Coast raid

Another bikie has allegedly been nabbed with a huge wad of cash and a stash of drugs on the Gold Coast.

Detectives found $36,000, bags of cocaine and methylamphetamine as well as handcuffs at a Surfers Paradise unit on Tuesday morning.

A 33-year-old man, accused of being linked to the Comancheros and Mongols bikie gangs, was arrested at the scene and charged with drug and theft offences.

He's been released on bail and is due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on February 23.

Two people, including an alleged patched member of the Hell's Angels gang, appeared in the same court on Monday over a separate raid on another Surfers Paradise unit last weekend.

Police allegedly seized $158,000 in cash, a handgun and drugs during that raid.
