Alleged Qld head stomper denied bail

A man accused of killing a Sunshine Coast resident by punching him and stomping on his head has been denied bail.

Brandon John Mischewski, 39, has been charged over the the death of 33-year-old Scott Frank Williams, whose body was found with severe head trauma in a Buddina unit last month.

Mischewski applied for bail on a charge of unlawful striking causing death in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday but was refused ahead of a committal hearing on March 31.
