Accused Qld league official killer charged

A third person has been charged with the murder of Brisbane Rugby League official Tony McGrath two years ago.

Craige Michael Morton, 48, did not appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday when his case was adjourned until September 28.

He's been charged in relation to the alleged murder of Mr McGrath, the president of the BRL referees association, who was shot dead in the garage of his Woolloongabba home in May 2013.

A man and a woman have already been committed to stand trial over his death.
