Accused netball star's stalker due in court

A father accused of stalking a Queensland netball star is due to have his case mentioned in court tomorrow.

Toowoomba man Stephen John Grott, 46, is accused of stalking Firebirds star Romelda Aitken.

He allegedly used a fake identity online to persuade Ms Aitken to send him naked photos of herself and later allegedly threatened to publish them.

Grott has been charged with two counts of unlawful stalking and two counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.

His case is due for a mention in Toowoomba Magistrates Court tomorrow.
