Accused computer hacking cop in Qld court

A Queensland policeman accused of hacking a restricted computer for his own gain has had his criminal charge mentioned in court.
Sergeant Michael Hedley Schodel, 56, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He is charged with using a restricted computer without consent and cause or intend to cause detriment, damage or gain.

Schodel was stood down from duty at the Queensland Police Service in January and will reappear in court on March 3.
