More than 20 people are facing drug-related charges in Queensland after police busted a syndicate operating across the Sunshine Coast.

Police have raided 21 properties in the region, seizing MDMA, cocaine, methylamphetamines and cannabis.

Stolen property, guns and money were also located during the operation, which spanned almost a year.

Police say 21 people are facing 80 drug-related charges, including six who have been charged with the trafficking, supply and production of dangerous drugs.

The arrests would put a significant dent in drug supplies in the region, according to Detective Inspector Dave Drinnen.

"The distribution of these drugs pose serious health risks, affecting the lives of our children and members of the community and we will continue the fight against these syndicates," he said.
