Qld woman six times over alcohol limit

A Brisbane woman who blew more than six times over the legal alcohol limit was allegedly caught after passers-by saw her collapsed in a vehicle.

Police allege the woman initially refused a road side breath-test but later recorded a reading of 0.315 per cent at a police station.

They were alerted on Wednesday to her vehicle on Burn Street at Camp Hill, in Brisbane's south-east, by concerned members of the public.

A 49-year-old woman from Camp Hill has been charged with drink driving, fail to provide a specimen of breath roadside and obstruct police.

She's due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 24.
