Qld primary student cleared of coronavirus

A North Queensland primary school student who recently returned from China with flu-like symptoms has been cleared of coronavirus, Queensland Health has confirmed.

Paramedics were called to Berserker Street State School in North Rockhampton about 12.30pm on Thursday, after returning from China over the summer holidays.

The boy was taken to hospital for testing but has since been discharged.
