Qld man jailed for killing housemate

A man accused of beating his sick housemate to death in a small Queensland town has been jailed for nine years for manslaughter.

Bruce Flynn, 60, died after a brutal beating on the rural property at Nanango, where he lived with William Arthur Feeney, 56, on September 11, 2015.

Feeney pleaded guilty to manslaughter part way through his murder trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court, where he was sentenced on Friday to nine years jail, backdated for time spent in custody.
