Qld man critical after being hit by car

A Queensland man is fighting for his life after being struck by a vehicle while walking in Brisbane's north overnight.

The man, in his 40's, was walking along Deception Bay Road about 7pm when the vehicle struck him.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with critical injuries, while the driver of the car was uninjured.
